Bushrat Surfboards is located in Merimbula, on the south east coast of Australia half way between Sydney and Melbourne.
I have been shaping and glassing my own boards for 15 years now, and in 1998 I thought it was time to throw in my job as a carpenter and pursue my shaping passion full time. Lots of time has gone into the development of new and innovative design along with the use of high tensile vinyl ester resin and carbon fibre glass.
Here at Bushrat, our main aim is to produce high performance surfboards that last.
We only use the best material available and as of mid 2004 all our surfboards have been fitted with twin stringers 1 ½” apart that keep them in one piece nicely.
